BIOGRAPHY
born in the coastal town of Scarborough, Clive Owen Barry has lived all his adult life in and around the North east of England. Earlier years, saw his family immigrating to Ontario, Canada, where he shared the first fourteen years of his life, being educated in both countries, on both sides of the pond.
returning to original roots, he now resides within the Northumberland countryside, with his wife, the two youngest children, together with a pair of EXTREMELY yappy Yorkies.
His working life began as an apprentice carpenter to the once prospering British ship building industry, but later he became involved as a SUPERINTENDENT Consultant to the Petrochemical, and Marine side of things. Travelling the world, whilst Contracted to the major oil traders as their attending representative.
What he appears to have gleaned throughout a long career, is a good insight of life from another man's perspective, and over many years of travel, confesses to having had the great pleasure and privilege of meeting and working alongside so many wonderful individuals.
Art and Literature have BEEN of great influence throughout his life. and having stepped away from all previous industries, finds himself in a freelance position thus allowing the divulgance to write and draw that which he enjoys most.

From an art perspective, I have been busy completeinhng numerous portraits for private clients and now offer my services as a graphite artist
